    Children from ages 8 to 14, who had been blind their entire lives, were given surgery that restored their sight. Upon successful surgery, they were told to handle a toy without looking at it. Afterwards, they were shown images of two similar but distinct toys and asked to pick which one they had handled. There was only a 58% correlation, barely better than chance!
